I was working in a busy General Practice 15 years ago when a spritely 80 year old woman came in wearing tight leather pants. She sat down and exclaimed that she had just been shopping and, lamenting the fashion of the day, said that she couldn’t find any jeans that covered her pubic hair. The consultation was pretty straight forward after that, and when we finished she said she was going home to mow the lawn, though given the drought she was really only mowing the dandelions. And there it was, the symbol I was looking for. Resilient in adversity, spread by the hopes and wishes of children and impossible to eradicate.
That is my wish for this project!
